RIP George Crumb, king of the recluse composers. Your musical handwriting will be a set standard for the rest of our days academically.
Please to enjoy a loopy journey (that doesn't really have to do anything with Schoenberg, though I think he'd have enjoyed it very much. Steve Reich would hate this, and I think Schoenberg would like that too. Which would happen right before Schoenberg would whoop Reich's whippersnappin' kahooties in ping pong. Harpo Marx would be there. Nothing about this is unreasonable, except that most of these people's known physical forms are currently dead.)
Unpronounceable: I asked Abud if they wanted me to try putting their writing into spoken word over the song, and this is what happened. I deem myself simply a performer here :)
Abud: this is a damn thrill and I love what happened with this tune.
"ON the very most in fact tip top tip of the edge of the shoreline of the mind is an omni-directional waterfall that dumps the endlessly cascading formlessness of thought from mind to body and returns feeling from body to mind. The waters of the waterfall fall and nourish and punish the receptive body and mind with the clarity or pollutedness of the churning waters of thoughts conscious and unconscious.
There at the top of the falls is the endless stream of consciousness. It flows and flows under a wholly holy holey blanket of static stars ensconced in velvety black everythingness. This is the 4 Dimensions of Stasis, Boredom, Unconsciousness, and Dreams. The Stream connects all pools of emotional energy together and combines into one unified thought process every emotion, reaction, feeling, prejudice, acceptance, assumption, belief, value, goal, desire, love, hate. You look over the infinity in the understanding that every one of these pools is open to you.
The watery thoughts churn in Anger's pool, awaiting your acceptance that you have the choice to accept them or not. The placidity of Love's pool awaits you in any form and accepts you unconditionally unto yourself if you are willing to enter it. All can bathe comfortably in the pool of Love. Overgrown on every pool are the plants and vines reaching up from the garden of happiness and pleasure. The golden waters of Sadness water all of them from above, alone and isolated but not unreachable.
You row your boat along the stream and the water speaks to you in a voice of your all own that you're finally willing to hear. The stream knows all that you are willing and unwilling to know and delivers all thought that you know and don't know you have. You confront your Conditioning. You make peace with your Prejudices and let them flow down the stream. Every wave demanding your attention, whitecapped in a perpetual state of growth unchecked without attention, begging to be seen. But you are commander of thought, the chooser of the placement of your attention. You feed through communication that which you want to be prevalent in your mind. Beyond the filters of Creativity, Guilt, Regret and Fear. Sitting in your infinity and directing the waters of the mind. Your line of your spine is moved with the beginningless rhythm of the waves. All is rhythm, all life begins in the water. Don't Drift. Row."

This reminds me of works that would be played at a mediation centre I used to attend in my hippy youth. Terry Riley(esque) music and profound and poetic spoken lyrics. APPLAUSE
Fine expansion of your initial image of H2O cascading over a waterfall into a extensive simile for consciousness itself.

Wonderful and weird, I was drawn to the title and wowed by the song. Feels like this should be spinning on a turntable while incense smoke wafts around it. I was hypnotized and transported to a place I don't know where, but Harpo Marx was definitely there.

Trippy. This takes me places. Nice.

I had no idea I needed this, but I did! It's like a flowing river that it doesn't even matter what the lyrics say, I'm just swimming in it. Lovely vocal delivery and I love the instrumentation.

I’m definitely using this for meditation. The instrumental bed is plush and enveloping and the vocal timbre is calm but full of intention and care. Lovely.

This works really well, through I definitely like to drift a bit sometimes ;-)

This is great. Great listen. I kept focusing on something but then remembering to LISTEN. favorites: wholly holy holey blanket of static stars ensconced in velvety black everythingness. And the end was powerful: sitting in your infinity…

Thank you very, very much to all of you for this performance of pure joy.

Best title of FAWM22. And the song completely lives up to the title's promise. I love the balance of the beautifully spoken word (really nice tone to the voice) with the subtle, watery music; they fit so well together. Really enjoyed it!

Bravo, Julie! Ruh Ruh Ruh!! Yayayay!

How can one pass that title without clicking? Okay, this sounds great, ambient and meditative. I'm going to sit down with a cup of tea and listen. I'll get back to you in a few minutes...
Wow, that was quite a trip. I just listened, without reading, so the words and music could flow over me. I jumped into a few pools for sure. The water's great

This is one of the coolest things I've heard on FAWM this year. Downloading for future listening.
