Written in a moment of madness. Where do songs come from? Sometimes for me it feels like fishing. You set up and see what you can catch. Don't know how this one came to me. Definitely must have been inspired by listening to acoustic tracks by the Who years ago. It's a rough demo anyway.
Forget all about what you think you know.
Talking about things that just don't show.
You ain't gonna learn nothing from fake news.
You wanna know something?
Put on your walking shoes.
Chorus
Little Jack Horner sat in the corner.
Poor Miss Muffet nobody warned her.
Hey diddle, diddle who had a fiddle?
While the cow jumped over the moon?
It makes me laugh to see you act this way.
How much cash did you have to pay?
The way you smile,
You think that we're all dumb.
Like your style, leaving me your crumb.
From up high, tell me what you see.
Hold on tight while I shake your tree.
You try to hide what it is you're doing.
Must be a lie because your lips are moving.

Great energy and upbeat guitar and vocals. Good groove. First verse is my favorite. “You ain’t gonna learn nothing from fake news.” Amen! Would be a fun one with a full band.

Yep I can hear The Who. But heck, that is no shame, right? This is a great song with some nice variety between verses and chorus.

I like this! It's great when you just run with an idea isn't it. I see what you mean by The Who influence, but it's all yours in the end result :)
