This is the kind of music I want to listen to. So peaceful. I'm going to download to listen to it on my phone when I'm taking walks around the park.
@headfirstonly Mar 2022
This delivers atmosphere by the bucketload. The result is a gorgeous soundscape. It's so neatly assembled; everyone's contribution helps to build a coherent whole, with some excellent choices of timbres and melodic lines. Great job, folks.
@beacon Mar 2022
Very ambient, swimming on the tide feeling to this. Love the little pops of sound here.
@fonte Mar 2022
God this is so good! I put it on and just zoned out and it’s absolutely gorgeous. I want it!!!!! Fantastic job everyone. Really beautiful piece
@dugganensis Feb 2022
Total mood. Introspective, a little subterranean, a little ominous, adventurous. Feels like I'm exploring abandoned catacombs and tunnels under an old city by flashlight, imagining what it must've been like hiding from air raids in there. Cool title, which lends to the imagery in a poetic way.
@andygetch Feb 2022
Listened through the computer speaker and after reading some of the comments I had to listen again with headphones. Very intricate texturing and amazing that this was done with a four-track!
@guatecoop Feb 2022
Oh this is pleasant! These kinds of sounds are so nice on tape. I'm not sure what that one sound is that is kind of a beat, but it sounds like when you have a big sheet of plastic and wave it around or something! Makes for a cool rhythm whatever it is. The swells are really nice and subtle and add a nice ambience to this. I like how this came together really well! Wow. Well done everyone!
@yarimurray Feb 2022
Cool listen with the earbuds and sounds totally organic as if performed in one sitting. Atmospheric and immersive and totally relaxing, bringing to mind napping at the beach and dreaming of alien worlds. Well done all!
@swampjaw Feb 2022
Very cool; really like the percussive whuppa-whuppa-whuppa sound. What exactly is that? Groovy and atmospheric, totally unique.
@gubna Feb 2022
Nice! I feel like floating listening to this. Like the bubbles of sound keep lifting me up in the air.
@elesimo Feb 2022
This is lovely, y'all! I love all the delicate textures and sounds in this song, it's very meditative and introspective. So good!
@vomvorton Feb 2022
This is so cool! Totally dreamy sounds made even dreamier by tape, and I love the wide panned mix giving everything its own space. Great job everyone!
@billwhite51 Feb 2022
one for the headphones for sure. pure sound immersion.
@liz561 Feb 2022
This is really cool! The arpeggios, the effects of bubbling water and waves crashing. Reminded me of the movie Koyaanisqatsi!
@bachelorb Feb 2022
I really loved all of this. The swells, the bubble sounds. I feel like I am underwater watching the circle of life unfolding before my eyes.
I also had to look up orba drums. Looks like a nice compact instrument to have in the RV for next February.
@rubberbandage Feb 2022
Fabulous job to everyone. I would never have known this was recorded separately, it sounds so cohesive and well orchestrated. Love this project.
@gardeningangel1 Feb 2022
I liked the title even before I realized where it came from- very cool! And it suits the song- everything blended together so nicely here. Has a very dreamy, underwater feel. So nice to just float along to.
@standup Feb 2022
Lots of great texture here, what a good job. So much space!!
@cloudboy Feb 2022
And love the title!
@cloudboy Feb 2022
Holy sh!t. That was dope. I had no idea if my idea with the beatron pad would work - thought it would be a thorn but it just layered so nicely. That baritone @lstlvs - gorgeous. The Orba drums @whispermouse creating just a hint of being unsettled. When I heard @elesimo's synth, I thought it was hypnotizing. We all listened and responded really well. @whispermouse - your mix is beautiful. I haven't had much time for music making this February but so happy I had some time to work on this. Thank you all.
@pfoo Feb 2022
Cool! I'm trying to figure out which tracks have which sounds - I think I've got it (maybe). Everything fits together so well. I had to search for Orba drums - had not heard of that before. Sounds like a beach vacation on another planet!
@thedutchwidows Feb 2022
This is delightful. Those swells give it such good atmosphere. I don't know what the wobbly thing is, but I love it! The arpeggios are really dynamic and the intermittent crashing in the background feels almost apocalyptic. It's a really cool piece, and I love the fact that I don't understand how most of it was done!
@zecoop Feb 2022
Wow, that is really pretty. I listened to it twice in a row and all these elements really make it something special. Relaxing and inviting. Loved this!
@mikeskliar Feb 2022
nice one! I'm getting more of an undersea vibe (those crashing wave sounds or something?) ---really peaceful and fun.
@nancyrost Feb 2022
This is really cool, such seemingly disparate elements blending very naturally. It's like gamelan meets video game music meets relaxation tapes. Amazing! Really nice mix.
@metalfoot Feb 2022
very pleasant to listen to, atmospheric like floating through clouds.
