Feb 2022 banjo instrumental
As I re-listened this morning, I realized the first four notes are identical to the intro to "Friend of the Devil" by Grateful Dead - not intentional, though it's my favorite artist!
Originally this was going to be solo banjo.

Ooh-I like this! I play banjolele so I am inspired to try something like this. I am hoping to hit 50/90 too so maybe we will "cross paths".

Lovely playing, my kitchen is full of broken plates :)

Wow! Great banjo duet. There is a little hint of melancholy that makes it really interesting and enjoyable to listen to. Wonderful finger picking and movement as the banjos dance together.

Hello Chip: It's Mr. McGaughey and his grade 1 music class. The children were drawing their responses while they listened to the song. Here is what they drew and felt from your song.
S: I drew some music notes on a wiggly line and a chair a person. It was calm.
I: I felt like dancing. I drew me dancing in a house.
A: I drew when I was dancing and my grandma was cheering for me. It made me feel great.
J: I drew a guy playing with a guitar.
C: I drew a guy playing a guitar. It made me feel calm.
F: I drew the beat. It made me feel nice.
E: I drew me doing a hula. It made me feel like nature.
M: I drew a cowboy Pokemon battle.
B: I was in the Pokemon forest with Bulbasaur and I was feeling peace.
Mr. McG: I will send the pictures via separate email.

This rolls along nicely. It would suit lyrics, don't you think? ;-)

An easy groove. I love banjos. Good one.

How could I resist? Not to worry about the four notes, Grateful Dead nicked them from someone else anyway. If i listen to much more Chip I suspect I'm going to give up and get a banjo (Or make a CBanjoG). Kudos for the duet. Now I feel I'd better unleash the duo pianos again.
