I think some sort of lyrical realization bridge would do well in this. Maybe some vibey background sounds, simple, slowed down production.
I had writers block recently so...went out to a coffee shop and just sat there, not wanting to be noticed. I didn't feel like I was the only one in that mood- seemed like everyone wanted to be in their own bubble. So that's where the lyrics started from.
Somedays it feels like it's easy to forget to see other humans around you because it feels like in order to survive we have to keep our own head down and grind it out not noticing the world around us, not to mention the pandemic has made many of us used to being alone.
So those are the thoughts from the day.
sitting at a coffee shop
Tryin stay silent but I’m not
Silent inside
Someone trips around the bend
I try to pretend
too immersed my own head
And that I didn’t notice
they’re all coming and going
Nobodies slowing down
nobodies noticing
mmmhmmm
We’re all Invisible
Sipping on a cloudy day
Outside watching the rain
Drizzling sideways
insanity inside that house
Stagnations got me like a mouse
Hiding inside
so i’m not noticed while
we’re all coming and going
Nobodies slowing down
nobodies noticing
mmmhmmm
We’re all Invisible
we’re all coming and going
Nobodies slowing down
nobodies noticing
mmmhmmm
We’re all Invisible

I like the idea of the quick stabs on the guitar. Might even sound cool played percussively with a drumstick or a pencil.

So good. The gentleness of this really drew me in. The whisper quiet recording makes me feel like the protagonist is almost afraid to be seen; it's the guitar that nudges things towards visibility and change. And yeah, the drizzle is definitely going sideways here today. At sixty miles per hour...

A very intriguing lyric and melody. Lovely vocal too. I think your words ring more true than ever these days, with everyone so occupied with their mobile phones that they're totally unaware of their surroundings. It's sad. The more social media contact we have, the less physical contact we seem to have. I'm not sure that's a good thing. You've written a very thought provoking song here. Kudos!
