Our story continues:
The little old man vanishes in a puff of optimism, and the girl next door is ready to charge off to complete the first task, which is to find "the sword of regret" or something like that. To be honest, you haven't been listening. You're busy not trusting anything that is happening, But when you try to tell your companion to be careful, she brushes you off. She's ready to be the hero and save the day. You can certainly tag along as her sidekick, but she expects you to help her, not hinder her.
She propels the two of you back down to the base of the mountain in a swirl of magic. It's very impressive. You have to admit that. And since she clearly doesn't want to listen to you, you decide to play the part of the sidekick...for now. As for the future: you'll just have to see.
Today's instrument is a baritone ukulele with a buzzing low string. I don't know why it's developed this buzz, and I really wish it hadn't, but let's just be positive about it and claim that it gives the piece a percussive feel. Sure. We'll go with that.

Old man didn't last long, did he? Still not keen on people making such free use of new magical skills without proper R&D and establishing the parameters of what's possible. Seems reckless to me, particularly if you're dragging others into your ill-thought out escapade. Very irresponsible...
Happy with a buzzing string - it adds a nice bit of fuzziness to the sound!

I liked the sound of this, percussive string and all! I clearly need to catch up with the rest of the story.
