Very rough cut version first play through. Sorry for the vocal inconsistency asthma. Gonna lengthen it up a bit instrumentally and actually commit the words to memory.
anytime you phoned me i looked forward to the night
Always at your mercy waiting to do you right
I’ve been making accusations projecting insecurities in my mind
And I notice you’ve been changing and I haven’t seen you in some time
and i dont know how you do it
how you push through it
remorse dies with the act she said
as she moves to the edge of my bed
were fueling eachothers misery
Adding salt to wounds that haven’t healed
But you haven’t phone me lately im lonely night after night
I bet you’re begging for his mercy
Failingto do him right
i dont know how youre doing it
i dont how youre pushing through it
remorse dies in the act she said
as she dressed at the edge of my bed
i showed you my love through jealousy
now in my head you crowd even vacancy
Silence is the loudest thing
Silence is the most hurtful thing
remorse dies with act she said
I can’t get her out of my head
Remorse dies in act she said
Nothing in life now never seems to end

Those first run-through recordings are often where the true emotion of the song appears. They can turn out to be pure gold. It really feels like that happened here. And yeah, what @metalfoot said. No apologies required, or expected here!

I think the melodic and chordal structure here works nicely for the style of song you're doing. Cool stuff.
Also this is FAWM. No apologies! We live in the raw spaces here.

I love the indie folk vibe. I really like the pauses in your verses - really nice lyrical phrasing. Love how you change the second line of your chorus as the story advances. Cool song.
