Ooh, this is delightfully quirky! The shifting balance in the instrumentation is all really clever and makes for a really interesting listen. Enjoyed it :-)
Almost feels like it could be the soundtrack to one of those old silent movies with a damsel being tied to the train tracks. I love all the layers and melodic movements.
Yes, the wonkiness is a big plus, this is sopping wet with melodrama. It's giving me Grim Fandango vibes! I've heard so many ambient instrumentals this year (hell, I made one myself), that it's cool to hear something so unusual as this.
Haha yeah this is wonky as heck. It seems to be going in all kinds of directions melodically. I love how various instruments take turns in take turns in taking the lead line. Definitely feeling ya on the popped out-ness. Didn't think it was possible but a bit of angular discordancy is just what the doctor ordered. At least they said they were a doctor, which doesn't explain why they were hanging around in the bogs.
That lead synth is very Plone! Love the sinister piano that drives this and there are an exciting number of different layers and melodic twists, this is really fun!

The clean piano sound really cuts through on the buzzy synth and sounds awesome.
It goes a few places this doesn't it! I dig.

I love how this is slightly unsettling! It kind reminds me of the band Sorry. Really cool choice of different textures.

There's a very edgy and uneasy feel to this, I'm waiting for the evil clown to leap out from behind the ear-aching piano. Cinematic.

Groovy psychedelic vibe here. Sounds super cool. Belongs on a movie soundtrack.

It's got a weird Beatlesey quality. Very enjoyable. I thought from the description it would be hostile and harsh

Is it noisy synth-pop or synthy noise -pop? Either way I like it. Nice smooth groove with jagged edges.
