Another mess around on Garageband, pulling samples and then working out what the notes are, then adding analogue instruments and singing over the top. The lyrics are inspired by a book I am reading at the moment, 'Anxious People', by Fredrik Backman.
I'm slowly drowning here,
Can't you see?
I’ve been here before,
You don't notice,
But you say that you know a better way down.
So, won't you tell me?

Great vocals and use of reverb. In my opinion, the percussion really keeps the listener on edge. It's kind of the backbone of the anxious vibe and something I can relate to, having had my fair share of experience with anxiety. On a side note, I wish I had an English accent, it always takes lyrics to the next level! Nice job!

Nice vocals! I really like this. It is easy to slip into the groove of the song. Beautiful

This is stunningly beautiful! What a super use of GarageBand samples! But those are only the trappings...the genius for me is your singing! I've listened a several times and this just gets better every time! This reminds me of Thom Yorke but honestly your vocals are sweeter!
This is one of the best songs I've heard here all month! Just awesome work!

The gradual build is really effective. Love your vocals as ever. Echo and reverb is great. Simplicity of lyrics works brilliantly.

Wow! Loved listening to the layering on this track. Sounds like you had fun making this!

You vocals and delivery are always great. Nice slinking groove you have going...and the instrumentation is very nice! Even though I normally hate the pervasiveness of the sampled hi-hat triplets in music everywhere...a lot on TV these days,...what you did with it is much more artistic.

Great track! The hihat(if it's the hihat) is making me nervous:) Really great vocals..

The rat-a-tat-tat of the percussion sound all the way through adds a cohesive element to the track, very different and not something I've heard before, makes the track memorable. Love the vocals too with their echoey reverb. Very nice.

Really liking the drumwork in the extended intro.
Oh snap, those vocals!
I think this is my first time interacting with your music - love when all of a sudden I hear vocals that make me sit up and my seat and go "whoa".
These did.
Whatever sample work you did melts right into whatever else you did, seamless.
Great backing to these awesome vocals - love the way you're singing on this track.
Oooooh wee, 2:45 is exquisite! Love how the music kinda crescendos there, everything wraps itself around your vocals. Excellent sound choices all around as nothing is harsh or takes away from the overall feel of the vibe you established; so well crafted!
Man, I'm digging this!

A successful mess around, love the triplets at the front of the song and the panning works really well to set everything up.
The tell me section is great and the way the song builds to it is very successful, love how the song just keeps building and adding layers. I was going to suggest some brooding guitars and there they are!
It feels like it needs a final part, seems like it has a fade out at the moment, if you come back to it something different to close the journey might be something to experiment with - I enjoyed this song.

Love the build on this. Fabulous vocals. Great use of GB. Thumbs firmly Up.

GB is a very useful creative tool, especially on iOS. Love the vocals - feels so 70s Hippie van! It all works well together.
