My part of Morph Chain 3 https://fawm.org/forums/topic/12466/
I forgot about it, until today... so it was quick and dirty and just got super simplified more than a lot of things getting changed :D
Been so long since it all went to shit
Can't tell up from down
Gotta get out of here
It's killing me
This fuckin' town
Westbound Highway, Eastboard thruway
Take your pick
North by goose, South by canoe
I don't give a shit
All roads lead away from you...

Like that you shortened it with a tail and added back the east

Very nice! You’ve really captured a sense of anger and desperation in just a few lines. The swirly guitar adds an off-balance feeling that reinforces the lyrical message. Thematically it’s still pretty close to my original seed song, but musically it stands on its own.

Evocative. I could see this as the opening track to a live set. Wonderful vocals on this & the swirling guitars always build such an amazing world. One of my favourites of yours, for sure.
See You In The Shadows…

This captures a definite feeling of despair. I like the background chaos that reinforces the emotional story.

This is really cool! So unique! Love the concise lyric over the sonic scape WoW, Great writing, vox performance and production.

I love the use of the two guitar parts. I’ve listened to all sorts of music in my years and can usually pigeon hole a song into a band I’ve heard....
I can’t with this one..... and I like that that I can’t, but more than that I really liked the song!!

This somehow strongly reminds me of Disco Elysium. The strong delay/reverb, the guitar, the gritty vocals! It's a hauntingly beautiful piece, adored it very much!

North by goose, South by canoe....
I don't know why I love this, but I really, really do.
The tone and attitude of this go perfectly together.
The grinding in the background gives a kind of desperation that also works really well.
Yeah, truth.

That's a great warm guitar tone, really goes well with the lyrics and what feels like changes ahead in the song.

Had to do my homework and listen to the other songs first... I want to put them all together into a road-trip playlist. The others are great but this one I can really relate to the most. Pretty neat how you coaxed your guitar into being a fiddle for this one. This is great, esp. for something you just threw together. I seem to recall only a rare mumbled vocal from you just a couple years ago, it's nice to be hearing your voice more.
