Wrote this and realized it was quite low for my voice but I found that I liked the vibe so I kept it instead of changing keys
Get me away far from this place
I don't know where I'm going but I know I need space
Find some friends and a house to call my own
Since you left I'm better off alone
Time will tell if I can live without you dear I won't forgive you
Taking a while to get back on these on feet
Always think the worst of everyone I meet
Find a date and laugh a bit that night
Nothing special but then again nothings right
Time will tell if I can live without you dear I won't forgive you
Hope you don't wait around
Long lost hearts never get found
Hope you don't think of me
Move along set yourself free
Set yourself free
Doing a good job now I swear its true
Put myself first in everything I do
Have a sense of peace within my mind
Got a life I never thought I'd find
Time will tell that I can live without you I don't need to forgive you

Such a beautiful, enchanting guitar melody married with excellently written lyrics with nice phrasings. I enjoyed your wonderful vocal delivery, I am happy I found this song... Compliments!

Oooohhhh this is lovely. Yes, keeping it low is definitely the right call. If you had to belt anything out it would break the spell. And we don't want to do that!
The guitar licks during the interludes are surprisingly moving. I choked up a bit each time they came in. I also love that stray note in the second chord of the song. It adds the perfect touch of dissonance to the atmosphere. Great melody on refrain. Just the right punctuation to the simple verses, I particularly like that the words keep flowing twice as long before taking a break.
The music was so captivating that I could barely listen to the words, so I had to replay. :)

What a beautiful way of singing. The whole feel of the song portrays the sense of coming out the other side of a dark time.

The melody and phrasing in that refrain is A+ So is the message. This is an absolute gem of a tune, might be my favorite of yours that I've heard. It just really gels.
Its charming in its defiance of forgiveness, yet very gentle and calm and collected. Outstanding write and performance. I'm glad you didn't switch keys as well.

The lower register really suits you! I think it brings out a certain vulnerability and softness, which really suits the lyrics of this song (I know that sounds like I'm saying your normal voice is hard and shrill, but that is definitely NOT what I am saying). The strummed chord progression has a great rhythmic propulsion to it, and the little guitar motifs between verses are a really lovely detail. A very sweet, simultaneously defiant yet vulnerable tune, really enjoyed my listen :)

Ilreally like your voice in this song and enjoyed the unexcited flow of this lovely song. Not long ago I experienced that forgiveness isnt allways easy.
