I've been a bit under the weather so struggling with my output and getting behind. This doesn't feel very inspired and is under developed. Cop out fade out. Was also having technical issues so that didn't help. It has potential but I'm not feeling it right now.
Potential to rise
Potential to fall
Face our demise
Or conquer it all
The future is unwritten
We shape our destiny
We build the chords, the harmony
Weave in the melody
The symptoms are dire
The earth is on fire
We've got nowhere else to be
Buildings are crumbling
Our leaders are stumbling
Why are we standing still?
We're wasting time
Fighting our wars
While our last hope
Is closing its doors
Look at the big picture
It's right in front of you
This is our mess to clean
Can't expect our children to

i can hear a horn section coming in on verse two, kinda "25 or 6 to 4' vibe :)

Only two comments with this cool jazzy progression and vocals? I'm not a fan of reggaeton but if more people wrote lyrics like this (and not yo mama, get drunk and chicas) I'd listen to more of this. Thank you!

What a powerful piece, delivered with a super charismatic voice! The rather quick harmonic changes are very pleasant, as are the sounds you chose. Also already pretty well processed imho!

So far, this is the only song labeled reggeaton this FAWM, so you have that going! I agree it feels a little underdeveloped, but you know that. I always think of FAWM songs a "preliminary sketches" - sure, there's still work to do, but all we're aiming to do is uncover the potential!
