Full Disclosure:
This was written well before FAWM22. But as I'm recording demos for my bandmates I figured, let it make the list.
(ALL OF A) MILLION (J. Olav van der Spree)
Some join the circus
Some they join the Marines
Some they own more books
Than anyone could ever read
Some like to dream
And some like to dance
Some would wake up drunk
If you gave them a chance
Some stand up for sumthin
Some demand that they sit
Some they boxed in Highschool
So don't give them no lip
Some do their best
To make their momma proud
Some like nothing better
Than to jerk you about
Some like nothing better
Than to jerk you about
CHORUS
It takes all of a million different people
To make this world of us go round
It takes all of a million different people
Sometimes I wish there weren't
So many of us around
Sometimes I wish there weren't
So many of us around
Some like to rock
And some like to roll
Some run their mouth
Bout stuff they don't know
Some are in such a hurry
You best get out the way
Some are glad to make it
To the end of each day
Some need teaching
Some need to forget
Some need to understand
If they ain't figured it yet
That few are chosen
But most are sent
And we need someone to clean up
All our shit in the end
We'll need someone to clean up
After us in the end
CHORUS
It takes all of a million different people
To make this world of us go round
It takes all of a million different people
Sometimes I wish there weren't
So many of us around
Sometimes I wish there weren't
So many dummies around

"Some they own more books
Than anyone could ever read"
Have you been talking to my wife about me? ;-)
This is freaking great! It's got a John Mellencamp feel to it.
I like the fact that the chorus stresses that we need such a variety of people to make it all work... and then darkly hints that, in fact, there are some who are surplus to requirements. I can think of quite a few... ;-)
BTW This line:
"To make this world of us go round"
would be better:
"To make this world of OURS go round" Capital letters only to emphasise the change. I am assuming that Nederlandés (as we describe the language in Catalunya) is your native tongue, is it? If so, your command of English both written and sung is astounding.
