Our story continues:
The girl next door's new magic has you moving pretty quickly, and you soon approach the mountain, which your companion immediately wants to climb. You, on the other hand, are still looking around yourself, gathering clues. There are still no humans or animals in sight, and everything is eerily silent beneath the flaming sky. You would really like to know what's going on. But the girl next door is all, "Mountain!" So up the mountain you go.
You start realising, as you ascend, that you probably couldn't stop even if you wanted to. She is magically speeding up your ascent, which is way easier than it should be. You're not even out of breath. You really don't trust what's happening, but let's face it: it's not up to you. This is all about her now.
And now you have reached the top...but we won't find out what's there until the next chapter.
The instrument that represents the trip up the mountain is quick and light, like the trip itself. I have a few melodicas. This is one of the cheapest, but it's also relatively in tune with itself and fun to play.
I've also got a couple of friends in the video. They have nothing to do with the music, but they're keeping me company because I'm sad that my hammered dulcimer has developed a crack in the soundboard.

I never got round to using my melodica this year, so you're making me jealous! Great upbeat, juanty feel to this. It really feels like you're bounding up a mountain!

It's a jaunty melody - perfect for a hike up a mountain!
Poor hammered dulcimer - is it an expensive mend? Can it be mended?
