This is a collaboration with the 3rd/4th grade music class of Duct Tape Guy. This was SUPER fun to to do and I really hope it puts a smile on the kids faces. We'll have another version coming too with a totally different approach.
I should have read the liner notes… sorry but yes so awesome. I have taught quite a few of these classes over the years. Not in a long long time though. I’m a HS band teacher.
Well as a percussionist I had to pick this one. Ha.. it makes feel like I’m teaching an Orff class. But not just any Orff class maybe an Orff class of mus Ed masters students who took the Orff instruments to the club:) Crazy but cool!!!
Oh this is brilliant! I love your class! I love their playing, I love your encouragement, I love the way it transforms into this epic creation - what better way of showing how everyone’s contribution matters, and what you think of as just a few notes can be part of something truly magical. Brilliant work, and nice one for thinking of this collab and making it real!
Too cool! A mutual friend (I think it was @crutherford) mentioned earlier this evening how awesome it would have been to have a ductapeguy as our school days music teacher. There's nothing like real world experience to teach both competency and confidence. Bravo, the two of you.
the kids are doing a great job keeping to the rhythms and hitting the right notes. when i was in 4th grade, i blew into my trumpet randomly, ever even looking at the music because i had no idea how ti read it because i joined the orchestra in the second semester as my dad kept delaying purchase of the instrument
This is so good and took me right back to my time as a classroom teacher at the start. . Really upbeat positive feel to this which i love . i love the inventiveness and i can only imagine the look on the kids faces when they hear whats been done to the track. Amazing and inspiring

Love this so much, especially because of the collaborative nature with the children, who will have gained so very much from this.

What a fun song! And a clever way to engage young minds with music! The kids did great and the whole thing was fun to listen to!
