A while back I was diagnosed with seasonal affective disorder (S.A.D.) -- basically, it just means I get depressed during the winter (aka December - March in this part of the world).
This is me just poking fun at my predicament and, I suppose, working through it at the same time.
S.A.D. white boy, ice cream for breakfast
And a bathrobe til lunch
Hands on his gut
Like its been punched
Winter comes
Punishing snow, frozen to the core
Minor keys
Open gloomy doors
Here come the pills
Here come the pills
Popping the pills
Feel a little less like a human landfill
Here come the pills
Here come the pills
Popping the pills
Handful of relief jammed in his grill
Why cry? (wah wah wah wah)
So much worse for so many others
Get fries (yum yum yum yum)
And forget your troubles
Why cry? (wah wah wah wah)
So much worse for so many others
Get fries (yum)
S.A.D. white boy
Seasonally affected, ’tis the season
Feelings doctors
Diagnosed the reason
Feeling glum, crippling depression
Go for the gold
Olympics of sorrow
In this household
Here come the pills
Here come the pills
Need a few pills
Starting to feel like it’s going downhill
Go get the pills
Pop the pills
Shower of pills
Looks like they’re gonna need a refill
Why cry? (wah wah wah wah)
So much worse for so many others
Get fries (yum yum yum yum)
And forget your troubles
Why cry? (wah wah wah wah)
So much worse for so many others
Get fries (yum)

Thanks for the comment @doglatin! Reading it back, the lyrics might come off as a cry for help (whoops). By pills I'm just talking about what the doc prescribed. I take 1 a day and it does the trick. I'm in Massachusetts so it's not so bad really. If I was in Michigan I'd prob have to take 2 haha. Stay warm!

I guess if ice cream and fries don't work, pills are the last resort, huh? Well this is an engaging portrait, that many can relate to I'm sure (I'm in Michigan, lost of seasonal SADness around here). The background vocals, with the overlapping, are very amusing, and at the same time endearing. Well I hope you make it okay till the sun is shining again. Don't overdo it with those pills!
