Feb 2022 convoheart anti-love country
From the challenge: https://fawm.org/forums/topic/12403/
I was pulled the candy heart "LYMY" which an online search taught me stood for "Love You Miss You". Acronyms can mean many things, so I thought of a different more negative word grouping. This is a drama between a guy who sings the first half and his "ex" girlfriend. I wish I could fake a guy and sing really bad country. I can picture/hear it with traditional banjo and all the scoops in pitch the singer can muster.
My second son, Michael, added a country bass for me. Yes...we were going for "bad" country. Sorry country fans. Remember it is all in good fun.
Love You and Miss You deep in my heart
It’s why I’m sending you this sweet
I’m hopin’ this candy gives us a new start
It says LYMY which I think is neat
Hope you will come back home to me
I miss you so much you see
This candy heart with the LYMY
Expresses the tears that I cry
Girl I miss you will you please stay
- lyric switches to the gal -
If I promise to miss you will you go away
Left You and Moved You out of my heart
I’m returning the candy LYMY
No doubt you stole it from the corner mart
If you miss me that much you can die
I’m never coming back to you
My heart is broken and we’re through
The candy heart with the LYMY
Is how I’m telling you goodbye
I guess this is really goodbye

NICE! Banjos RULE! "Bad country" is good once in awhile, and this is definitely one of those whiles. <3

A really sweet song... I never knew about that acronym... Great song. #tit4tat

Aww, I like this. You made LYMY really musical. Really appreciating the banjo part. It sounds so sweet, yet some of the lines are pretty harsh to the ex-boyfriend, heh. I love that she's gonna return the candy :). #tit4tat (reciprocated)

"If you miss me that much you can die" Hahaha! Straight to the (candy) heart of the matter. Love the inspired LYMY twist going into the 2nd verse.

Oh my what a twist in the lyric. Clever use of changing acronyms too!
