This was a great ride! so interesting to hear the different stitches. I feel a sense of mystery in the beginning, and also feel uplifted in some parts? Until 02.40 where I feel very haunted / feeling something is off. Great atmosphere building
Starts like an ominous western with a full production, then fades into a solitary clavinet piece. Eventually drums and slide bass enter, segueing well into the next segment (another ominous piece highlighted by slide guitar). As the synths enter, the music becomes more consonant and melodic. Finally it changes to a rhythmic drum machine solo and more synths.
I enjoyed listening to this and how all the different segments fell into one another.
The scene opens on a desolate landscape of some strange, dark world... as the sunrises the land blossoms into light and life, the parched soil is quenched with iridescent rain falling from sparkling pink clouds.
Down the rainbow-brick path rolls our hero, Echo-Bot, on their daily rounds harvesting the pearl-berries from the glitter trees.
But what is this!? A huge sky-vessel appears overhead and beams Echo-Bot up into a large factory where Echo-Bot is sent down a conveyor line where their hardware is removed, wiring is pulled out, and they are slowly powered down...
Echo-Bot2.0 comes online and begins to test the functionality of their new fittings. They now have articulated pincers for much more efficient harvesting, the rubber of their treads has been replaced and all gears freshly oiled, their chrome has been polished to a dazzling shine... their mobility functions have been expanded beyond forward/backward/pivot to include Up, Down, and Dancetastic. Oh joy! A new e-motion chip has been installed!
Echo-Bot2.0 is beamed back down to the glitter orchards to resume the harvest/dance party.
This was fun to stitch together, though I could of gotten mine and @ericlord 's bits together better, but I was getting tired of looking at a DAW screen :D
I think this is the most avant-garde of the corpses I've heard this year. That's quite a journey, from action-movie soundtrack to chamber music to prog to more prog to EDM. Gonna need to listen to this one a few times to process it, I think!
This starts off so "spooky" and almost menacing, then progresses to a wonderfully "toy-like" section. Then we're back to spooky with some killer sub-bass sounds. And out of spooky, we start to get ethereal, held together by that glorious bass! A fabulous, developing percussion section into some bendy synths.
Hell yeah! You all done good on this one. :-)

Quite eclectic sections, yet they all work well and have great stitching. Well done.
@gammafied Feb 2022
Very nicely done. Consider me pleasantly haunted.

Exquisite piece. sometimes creepy but on a good way
@heliosonorous Feb 2022
Nicely done, at times sounds like a warmup intro for a show, the whirling landscape at the start sets the tone well!
@emkaydeebee Feb 2022
Just listened whilst pottering doing other things, and for it to sit so comfortably without the transitions particularly shouting out is brilliant!

Ha ha! You fooled everyone. We must not take anything for granted.

Thanks @dzdandcunfsd for the stitching! Much appreciated :)))

It does kinda fit well together though

Oh my, I love the progression of this. So intriguing!
@quork Feb 2022
All of you knocked it out of the park. What a great listen. @dzdandcunfsd I'm loving the extended fade-out/ins.
