I decided that I wanted to do something difficult, something that would really push me. So I thought of the one genre I know nothing about and indeed don't really like that much, Jazz.
I know there is a patch on my Juno that sounded a bit Jazzy, so I started there. But then what??
I played around, and strangely I found that some chords and the notes from a boogie-woogie melody seemed to fit in. A bit of jazzy sounding percussion and here we are.
My first, and maybe my last, jazz piece. I'm going to need to listen to this a few more times myself, as I wasn't sure I could pull it off....and indeed I'm not sure I have. But boy was it hard!

Very nice jazzy coffee song! Would love to listen to this at night, watching the city lights!

Very jazzy indeed, but really cool as such. I'm imagining myself in to a bar full of smoke and people laughing and chilling.

Nice write, and a credible take: the chill piano synth sound works well here.

I *may* have to consider crossing you off my Christmas card list following that revelation about you and jazz!
This is really cool. It definitely has a smooth jazz feel. I can hear the boogie woogie influence, but the whole thing flows very nicely. I really enjoyed this one.
