Not a Valentine's song, but one for the love I feel for all human fellows. Humans have a need to lead their lives in peace and dignity. We do not owe the fact that we live in a peaceful, prosperous world to our actions, but to the place where we were born.
The 3 facets of the triptychon are my attempts to bring this more into consciousness.
Migration is a human right! Sundari
Ref: How many years should we mourn, the dying in the Mediterranean must finally come to an end!
1.It may not change much, but it is shameful To be European, where the right to survive is measured by the place of birth. Being a safe haven for refugees: Whoever needs protection comes to us!
Ref
2. Off West Africa we fish the seas empty for our needs the fishermen from there are driven here by hunger, they cross the Sahara and the Mediterranean. The fishermen always follow the fish because that is their food.
Ref
3. In the war zones we deliver German weapons and fill the coffers of the state with them. Those who then flee their homeland have to lose their belongings and even their lives. Escape route ending in Europe, stories of the war - ask grandma and grandpa.
Ref:
4. We get oil and gas from the Mahgreb, the people remain poor, the government greedy beyond measure. Studied and courageous people want to look for paid work and fun in Europe. We take North Africa's natural resources Nafri s(northafricans) are interested to work.
Ref.

Wow, what a powerful message! Thank you for singing about such an important topic. You paint the picture with such frankness, compassion, and tenderness. It's very beautiful!

Etwas, was mir häufig nicht gelingt. Danke dafür.

I love it! Great song on Peace theme and we need more of these for sure. I am probably going to Berlin this summer so if you are around let's play it in the streets.
Peace

Good to see you back at FAWM, Sundari. I admire your ability to wrap important lyrics in such an engaging, gentle song. Very well done. (In my country we keep refugees in prison camps for years, treating them like criminals and often sending them back to countries that aren't safe for them.)

Wichtiges Thema. Sehr gut verpackt.

For all the ugliness that this song addresses it is really beautiful. Though I don't speak the language my heart understands the emotions, the grieving concern for humanity. Much of what you bring up in the lyrics is news that many folks are sheltered (or shelter themselves) from. Your voice speaks of love and righteous anger in the haunting refrain and the chanting nature of the verses has a call-to-prayer feeling for me. Powerful song, I hope that many people hear it.
