Feb 2022 experimental instrumental short
Another just idly messing around in the studio coz it's chucking it down outside. Mercifully short... but will prolly be worked on later in the year. Or even later in the week if the weather continues to be so poor.
Instrumental only.

First few bars took me to an avant garde medieval thriller. I love the build, the tension, and when the vocal comes in I'm elevated to an eagles wings, soaring over the Highlands. The final staccato type bars at the very end become a slideshow to a final shot.
It might be short but you've got terrific sections in this compact adventure! This is full of imagery for me, ya think?. This soundtrack would be perfect for my tripped out dreams. Great composition!

Oh I'm loving that beginning for sure.
And then the bass makes it even better.
Yeah, another good one.

From just over 30 seconds in, boom, you had me right in the ear! Love that bass sound, love. Short and sweet, too short, look forward to a longer version!

The 'backwards' feel of the initial part by use of a volume pedal leads to an interesting guitar lead, then spooky vocal sound and more spooky guitar!.

The tone and unique way you use your guitar and effects just floors me every time. The heavenly vocal overdub adds a nice effect too.

Nice one and like the effects in here, gives me images of a character walking the streets in a film with a voiceover while pondering a major decision.

The voice over the heaviosity of the scene is perfect. Interesting ringing out at the end there. Some beautiful sounds and movement in this one.

I like the stringy sounds. Oh when the bass comes in. Then we start horse riding through woods abs then we come to a fence and then the elves can be seen on the horizon ….. abs then as the camera pans in we can see they have a large assembly of cellists all just about to play. Then they do. That’s what I got anyway !

I like the combination of the finger-picked with the volume pedal (?) I can see why you moved in this direction, as you are so good about starting with an idea and then dressing it out. Really good flow and seems to tell a story. I can see why you're going to develop it later--seems worth it to me. Well done!
