One to start things off...
Concentration interrupted, noises outside
Someone shouts at the traffic
My cursor is blinking
Fumbling for the next line
Emptiness into the distance
If you know you can’t stop
Then don’t even start
Drinking is a game you won’t ever win
Though it covers the cracks
There’s a deeper impact
You always need to pay in the morning
You shouldn’t ignore the signs
Forgotten names, endless late nights
Behind the wheel of your car
What time did you leave the bar?
Shooting the dice in the breeze
Bringing you down to your knees
Time to make decisions now
How are you going forward?
Time to change your lifestyle
Before it becomes your deathwish

"Concentration interrupted" has pretty much been my motto for the last couple of years. And "You always need to pay in the morning" is painfully true...
This delivers a strong message in a disarmingly gentle fashion. Which lets it hit home all the more powerfully.

Nice guitar work. I like the stream of consciousness feel to the lyrics with some great rhymes and near rhymes. Well done.
