Welcome to # 11.
I like today's vocals a little more, in spaces.
I woke up and lost myself in some King Crimson and Opeth. Then decided to aimlessly pluck about on the guitar. Said f*ck it and recorded it. Penned some lyrics and... here's the outcome of that.
There was a time before, when it wasn't so difficult to dream
And those are days we'll never see again
Sunday, bloody Sunday, when will you be over?
I cannot concentrate
All I've uncovered from my grave
Are old worn pages
With the ink swept away
All I've learned from my memory
Are tattered fragments
Where hope used to be
There was a time before, when it wasn't so difficult to dream
Those are days we will never see again
Now sections sprouting weeds
Through cracks of grey concrete
Assaulted by rain
Where tears joy in streams
Vanishing down the drain

It's pretty cool that you're already at #11.
I think it's a good idea to just play with sound, say it's good enough and go with it. And you got a cool song out of it! It's sad but still somehow beautiful.
