This song started out as a snippet in the 4 track challenge that @wacha organized at 50/90 last year.
The piano sounded menacing enough, that I have tagged it in the movie title challenge as well.
Thoroughly enjoyed several listens to this one. I like it a lot. It covers a lot of emotional ground. Toward the end I found myself thinking of the series Broadchurch, the cliffs and the ocean, where the tension is high and so much is on the line. Really nice use of those strings to create a more complex palette of emotions.
The piano works so well with these metallic haunting strings. Interesting that you found your very own style of playing piano. The turns are a typical jamkar
This has a really interesting vibe to it. It's intense and emotional, with big dynamics between light and shade. And that is indeed a very solid-sounding piano. But it feels more mournful than menacing to me, though; those big washes of strings have a real sadness to them.
Nicely done, Mike! I can hear both the feeling of a bit of fear and a bit of relief of someone pending an escape. The softness at the end is like complete exhaustion after success. Kudos on the challenge!!

Love the piano/string combo - it paints such pictures in the mind. Lovely piano noodling, as if it's all occurring in a hazy dream. Beautiful!
