A few days ago I found out that my former guitar teacher Anton Berezovsky, had died after a long illness.
I took lessons from him for 2 years before my departure from St. Petersburg in 2015. I believe he should have been under 40 now.
He was a real Jedi, devoted himself completely to the path of a guitarist. Rest in peace, Anton.
'Bereza' (actually it's pronounced as 'beryoza' — берёза) means 'birch' in Russian. It's his moniker from last name.
On the photo it's him playing on his one-love-guitar Suhr.

The fact about this track is that solo is uncut one-take (although not a first one). Here I played tweaking volume knob, switching to different pickups while playing. I never did it before for record.

Wow, this song is soulful and emotional. Your playing and tones are so nice. I like the other details that you’ve added. The tone on that lead does evolve and you’ve done it expertly. Well done!

A lovely tribute to your former teacher. I really like how this is the most tender electric guitar playing I've heard. Nice job.
