I fell in love with this AI generated person, but I didn't know who he, she, or ze might be. I posted it as the skirmish prompt, and then sat down to write a song.
An Aetherial Love
Deirdre M Murphy
My ship was in port the first time we met
I was fixing the gears on the mast
I saw your gold hair and your silver barrette
And you smiled at me as you passed
The tiny gears on your silver wings gleamed
Iridescent with sweet-scented oils
You tapped my receiver, your address you beamed
And you flew off with chiming airfoils
My internal clock is a few seconds off
And my gyroscope heart is askew
My owl-glass eye is just slightly cracked
But I can always see you, my dear
In the net, I can always see you
You flew east so fast and my ship flew west
But we chatted all night in the aether
You delivered your packs, I tended my gears
and our discourse was sweeter than either
A light-winged envoy and a heavy gear bot
Not two you’d imagine together
But our souls are bound tight in a gleaming love knot
Our minds joined by aether net tether
My internal clock is a few seconds off
And my gyroscope heart is askew
My owl-glass eye is just slightly cracked
But I can always see you, my dear
In the net, I can always see you

Great imagery in this one- so many little details. It's that and having no idea how they might function I think that does so well conjuring a steampunk dystopian landscape. Cool.
Incidentally, I'm not sure how real or imagined that prompt was, but I also had a surprisingly strong reaction to a particular AI that I had at first hoped to write with this FAWM, but the process of interacting with it was by turns so disturbingly real and so disappointingly programmed that I decided to leave it alone for a while. And of course wrote a song about it- but that's pre-fawm. Funny to have come across this, and to see where you went with it. I tended to go with all programming related metaphor, but that's my background so go figure.

That was very beautiful! I especially liked the chorus, the words and imagery you chose. Again beautiful singing voice :)

Interesting concept that you have woven in to a nice song. Some of the lyrical lines are very creative. One that really stood out to me “our minds joined by aether net tether”

I know nothing of steampunk so I can't comment on that aspect. I just find your language intriguing and despite all I can follow the story. Thanks for the prompt.

Heartware compatibility!

What an amazing write! I tend to not like many steampunk novels(some are great), but I always love the artwork, and you created a wonderful story around this picture.

So many good tech/steampunk references and lots of specific words packed in here in general, which helps complete the picture with or without the picture. I also was taken by that "owl-glass eye" as you describe it, so it's cool to see that you worked it in.

“My owl-glass eye is just slightly cracked”— such a memorable line, it keeps coming back to me. I like how you fashioned a whole world to go with this image; it was like discovery to listen.

Very pretty, and very steampunky.

I like how you incorporated the glitches in the AI rendering by making them a part of the singer's perspective via "My owl-glass eye is just slightly cracked" - it was an interesting prompt, and it never occurred to me to incorporate that aspect in any way.
