I wanted a melody you could sing Tolkien's poem, 'The Road Goes Ever On'. This being FAWM -- no fair singing a non-FAWMers words... so this is a instrumental! Sorry about my scratchy fiddle.
You've captured Tolkien's vibe really nicely. Your resistance to singing it reminds me of the year of the FAWM challenge to adapt a children's song. After tackling a few silly, traditional songs, Eugene Field's Wynken Blynken and Nod was asking to be newly interpreted. How could I say no?
(That's probably my way of saying I'm too lazy to find a copy of The Road Goes Ever On to sing myself ;) )

I like it, feels like an Irish tune. The fiddle sounds fine.
