Just a silly story with some interesting (to me!) guitar textures.
In the desert, Herbert
deserted his dessert -
a sherbert
cos it was too tart and hurt
his throat
With a hoarse voice
his horse shouted for more choice
when it came
to oats and hay – hey!
while his maid, Maude, made a joke
and muttered “Marry merry folk
or else you’ll be worn, forlorn
and rue the day you were born”
So in the pale night
a pail saw the light
and married a great
garden rake
who left the leaves
but swept the sneeze
right out of Herbert’s nose
and said “this is a job for the garden hose”

Haha this make me do a stupid little body shaking dance almost immediately... I too find these textures very intriguing! Its jangly and bubbly and fizzing and fuzzing all over the place! Really loved this.

Hay--HEY!
That was amazing to listen to! Some great sounds and enjoyed the write, it felt like nursery rhymes. Fun!

Cool textures, indeed. That bass is great. You're going to hurt your throat singing like that. This is a toe-tapper, head-shaker for sure. I'm finding myself doing an involuntary dance of sorts at the breakfast table. You've taken control of my body... :)

The guitar/bass interplay is cool and original. I like how you energetically sing the Herbert stanzas as well (especially the word 'throat'). And yeah, I get you like the guitar textures too. I did also think so!
