This one took a VERY long time to come together but I'm fairly satisfied with it. Came a long way to get it to where it is now so hope you enjoy!
Was mostly Maschine with a little modular nonsense and a sample thrown in for good measure. Used the Dubtree Kit, The Gentleman, the Asamta kit, and the Wolver Kit in Maschine.
For the rig, it was Mother 32 + Ears —> Rings —> Blades —> Magneto (Blades Frequency 1 and Rings Structure modulated by Tides)
The high-pitched drone is the contact microphone on Ears with rhythmic tapping, the filter 1 frequency modulated by Tides and the filter 2 frequency being tweaked manually.

You know, you're a bit of a mood master. Listening to this felt like the soundtrack to being aggressively contemplative. Like "Well. if this, then this" while the background thoughts bounce around. Modern classical in a sense.

I feel that drone in my soul. This is awesome, I can just close my eyes and drift away in it.

Sometimes taking the extra time on a song really pays off. This particular song benefited from that for sure. This is the sort of song I'd love to have playing when I come home from work. Something to calm the nerves & releave the stress of the day. I can picture myself sitting back with a drink in my hand & just enjoying the solitude & the music. Yeah, this is a wonderful track. Well worth the extra time it took to put together.

Intro had me thinking of some Infected Mushroom track from Converting Vegetarians II, but then we get more elements, and despite the abrasive high frequency drone, this feels more and more relaxed. The production (aside from the drone) feels very.... cute. :) So do the melodies.
With the drone in consideration, it feels like it's masking itself with some sharp spines, but it's still adorable inside, just like a porcupine.

Always nice when you work a long time on something and it finally ends up where you want it.
Super somber piano with those crisp plucks plinking about, that's a nice sound.
Cool rhythm on the drums at 2:18.
The stuff you're doing with the mic really fits the title, as that sound mixed with the beautiful pad you bring in during the end does feel like vapor or mist rising into the atmos.
This was very chilled track that I could probably concentrate and get some work done to.

Peaceful and dreamy, has a smooth groove, I like the subtle distortion near the end, the uptick of drums was well done!

I love this instantly. Such great energy and you know I love a haunting sort of vibe. This is oozing it. :) I can hear such a great melody line for lyrics on this. This is very well produced, friend! :) -Ru

Despite this being tagged as 'chill' and 'downtempo' I found myself turning this up loud! I love how the sound you've used for the melody that comes in around 1:45 really cuts through the mix. Love the ending too. Nice one :-)
