we are
miracles of blood and bone
flesh and sinew
hurtling through space
on a ball of dust and spit
present to
our glory and our insignificance
we bless and bluster
we wander and wonder
we vibrate with joy and fear, yet
find ourselves
in the moments of silence and stillness
in the times of humility and emptiness
dropping out of our minds into our souls
to resonate with the universe

I've got a demo for this, I'm gonna post it cus I like it, but let me know if, er, you know, etiquette here can be complex and hopefully you'll be happy with it! :)

Verse-Verse-Verse! My favorite structure when I started FAWM! :D
I actually hear this as lush Prog. Metal in my head a la DragonForce. The lyric lends itself well to that sort of style.

You have learned much, Grasshopper :)
(If you don't get it, it's a quote from a 70s TV Series called "Kung Fu" about a young Taoist or Buddhist monk).

I had no idea what to expect, but this was great. It really flows nicely, and I love the word pairs: bless/bluster, etc. It is rather astonishing to think of how miraculous it is that we balls of spit and dust exist at all. This is a really strong write from one such ball
