WOW i'm off to a slow start! my good tape deck broke the last day of january (RIP), then i got tied up with some family stuff/band practice/general sloth... but now i'm finally ready to start in earnest i think >:)
this was my first time digitally editing takes together instead of just leaving everything as is. i had 1 take that i thought was perfect except for this 1 effect i had in the last half that drove me nuts lol... trying to not do that for the rest of FAWM tho! my only other rule for myself (that i may/may not stick to) is that my main melodic sample has to be ripped from vinyl, but everything else? anything goes!

Was excited to see this pop up on my watchlist but I'm so behind with my commenting! Anyway, very cool - it's a weird juxtaposition between being quite lo-fi and chilled, yet it's so maximalist, at least from a frequency angle. Very cool! The glitches are a bit uneasy which pretty is cool.

2nd song that i'm listening from you and i freaking love what you did here! Can't wait to hear more from you, and maybe collab together ?

Oh I love me a nice soundbath. and I can relate with setting rules for yourself to not make everything perfect! To be honest I don't hear anything about this track that would make anyone go nuts (in a bad way). I love all the takes and effects. the vinyl sounds to die forrrrr. But anyway, I think we can all go at our own paces on FAWM - as long as we have fun all month long right :)

I love the girttiness overlayed with the, to my ears at least, a kind of souldful, almost hopeful melody. It sounds like going east might not be all that bad. But then maybe it's just all a dream after all...
