Lazy Days
Lazy Sunday
Lying in my bed
Maybe Monday
There will be something in my head
Lazy Monday
Lying in my bed
Maybe Tuesday
There will be cupboards full of bread
Deeds are meaningless
Deeds are so useless
Do I even want to try
“Do I have to go”, I sigh
Lazy Tuesday
Lying in my bed
Maybe Wednesday
There will be something up ahead
Lazy Wednesday
Lying in my bed
Maybe Thursday
I’m only waiting to be dead
Words are meaningless
Words are so useless
Why should I begin to try
When all I want to do is lie
Lazy Thursday
Lying in my bed
Maybe Friday
I’m thinking pill of blue or red
Lazy Friday
Lying in my bed
Maybe Saturday
There will be someone in my bed
Saturday
I do get up
This day I love

Really enjoyed listening to this. You've got a lovely quality to your voice. Ugh, the weeks can be really tough sometimes. Makes me think of how sometimes having that one thing to look forward to can be surprisingly sustaining.

As I'm currently commuting to work, I could do with a lazy Monday!
Lovely jazzy inflection to this. Like a lost song from the Great American Songbook.

Move over Ella Fitzgerald! This is so wonderfully jazzy and I love the overlapping days, awesome job with just your voice!

Haunting in a good way. I can hear the backing I think would work, but also think it doesn’t need any after all
