guatecoop: @seemanski and I have collaborated before and I loved the results--AND he's also just the nicest person to work with. He wanted to do vocals on my first song of this year and I was kind of surprised that I didn't see that coming! It is kind of made for what he does so well. Well, he sent me THIS! It is really amazing how much effort he puts into everything and the results are just so good. Thanks for doing this! I would have never imagined to do what you did and it's brilliant!
@seemanski:
I heard this track and immediately thought I want to croon all over this. Lyrically this wasn't actually intended as myself questioning my parenting skills, well it probably was subconsciously. Instead, I wrote down 10 verbs that I associated with therapy and then 10 things that I saw in front of me (in my living room) and mashed them together. The spoken section is a direct reading from the popular highlights in kindle of a parenting book I decided to read a couple of years back.
I enjoyed this one, I loved my crooning session.

nice doubled vox - and rocking delivery!
the spoken section fits this as a glove :)

Great rocking number!
As I mentioned to someone else recently, I admire those who can write "stream of consciousness" lyrics. When they work the listener brings their own meaning and connections to the table as part of the creative process and finds some coherence amongst the lyrics (as here). When it doesn't work, you can just tag it "psychedelic" :-)
@lenigmusx1 Feb 2022
Had to check this out now after listening minus vocals! Oh very cool. Not what I was hearing but equally awesome. Oh yeah great chorus awesome vocals. Wow so good!!!! The clock is definitely watching.
@audrey Feb 2022
Really great song guys. Solid rock with a great melody. Love the ending too.
@unkept Feb 2022
This is fantastic, love the singing and the story within the words. The music was already great but together with the vocal this collab is truly complete. Great work to both of you!
@gwyn1234 Feb 2022
This hits home! In so many ways it's a great track!
@helenseviltwin Feb 2022
This is spectacular. Great work from both of you; it really sounds like you're all playing in the same space. I say all, because this is at least 6 people in my brain. It's got a bit of a radiohead thing going on, from the more chaotic end of the ok computer era. Love it.
@nicetrip Feb 2022
Sounds very cool! Solid rock feeling. Great collab.
@eas3637 Feb 2022
Wow - what a fantastic arrangement. And I love how you build the story in the lyrics and go from sung melody to spoken word - so effective!
@slusk Feb 2022
Love it from the beginning to the end. Nicely arranged!
@cblack Feb 2022
Very nice. It's helping me relax right now. I think you both did an incredible job. :)
@tseaver Feb 2022
Nice collab: the guitars frame the lyric well, and add to the conflicted fee. Great lift for the chorus.
@elesimo Feb 2022
Oh woooow... that intro sounds so good! Then it just turns into something even bigger and better. Amazing collab, this is a solid mix and a great song.
@dock Feb 2022
Very cool collab, the vocals delivery is just the right grit for the lyric and that heavy epic rock sound is fantastic!
@gilhari Feb 2022
Love this Collab. Good chemistry between the vocals and music.
@kenmattsson Feb 2022
Wow, great stadium spanning vocals here! Love the spoken word part.
@billwhite51 Feb 2022
seemanski is rapidly rising as my favorite fawm rocker and quatecoop offers some thoughtful words for parents of brats
@w1n Feb 2022
Made an already really cool song even better, I get a bit of early Foo Fighters vibe from the combination of music and vocals. A very successful collaboration.
@paulh1237 Feb 2022
This doesn't sound like the lyrics were a later addition at - very natural! The chorus is huge and the spoken section afterwards is great. Actually, this is one of my fav fawm songs so far!
@nadine Feb 2022
Great addition to a great song @seemanski. The phrasing works so well. And I love the stuff in between. Great rock track!
@coolparadiso Feb 2022
love what's done with the vox here gives it a real edgy feel! Got very good build! the guitars are really solid and it gets just a bit nicer wackier through to the end! don't get much better than this , different and what i really come to listen to!
@karlsburg25 Feb 2022
I have been listening to the instrumental a lot so this is a real treat. @seemanski what an incredible job you've done here. I adore the harmonies in the verse and the delicate space you put in between the parts on the pre chorus leads to one massive chorus. The song suddenly transforms into an instant classic. Great work guys.
@hazydave Feb 2022
This is cool... nice collaboration!
