So, sometimes when I listen to music these days it does not seem to make a lot of sense, but it also seems people love it. So I thought I would give it a go.
LOVE YOU LIKE A ROBOT
By David Snyder
I have no emotion
but I wear my rubber gloves
like a master of the darkness
like the turtle doves
and I love you like a robot
love you like a robot
CH
don't ask me to dance
be something that I'm not
don't talk of romance
it is not what I got
but I love you like a robot
I love you like a robot
V2
Love you like Zuckerberg
love you like an iceberg
Love you like a Twitter bug
love you with my zipper hug
love you like a Dorsey
ride a little horsey
strutting just like Morrissey
like the Earl of Jersey
CH
V2
You'll be like a princess
sitting in a white dress
I love you like a China
Alexa and Elvira
don't know what I'm saying
my music is still playin
like a robot
just love you like a robot
CH
V3
gonna love you like an ice cube
gonna love you like a news crew
love you like a Jiffy Lube
put it up on you tube
Love you like the Navy
licking up the gravy
love you like a Davey
living in a cavey

Oh, this is priceless. Made me laugh out loud. So catchy too. I can relate to how you feel about a lot of the popular music today. There's some really great stuff out there, but there's also a lot of robotic-type sh*t too. Lol. Thinking back, though, maybe there's always been a lot of crap that's been popular in its day. We used to call some of it bubble gum music. And just look at all the disco music that was popular. Because we love the songs that have withstood the test of time, we might mistakenly think that all music of its era was good. Like the jazz standards - maybe there were lots of popular jazz songs that were crap. Anyway, I love this here song of yours. It's very creative, funny and oh so catchy. I love it, and not like a robot - like a human. ;)

Great motif and interesting gravelly vocal too. The madness of the lyrics almost makes sense.

I get some serious Tom Waits vibes, which I love. The whole dark vibe, the growly vocals. The hook/chorus is great, and really compliments the clever verse lyrics. Which by the way, great rhymes here dang. Liked it a lot.
