Feb 2022 fawmtronica old-folkie-with-sampler maschine
Today is @crutherford 's birthday. Happy Birthday! Cassandra is the Queen of the Wurlitzer and crazy musical experiments, so for today's Maschine Jam, I figured out how to load a Spitfire Labs Wirly instrument, and monkeyed again with the Mk2's arpeggio generator. The ice cream changes always make for a happy little tune.
I'm primarily an acoustic folkie but I've been monkeying with a Native instruments Maschine Controller for about 4 months. I have been using Melodics to help me learn basic finger drumming skills (and assist me with trying to understand that thing that drummers do). I am just now at the stage where I can load samples, craft loops and assemble them into something resembling a song. I am going to try do a sample based something every day this FAWM. They are not polished productions but my path to adding these modern tools to my box of crayons. If anyone wishes to expand on these sketches, add lyrics, etc.., drop me a line and I can hook you up with Maschine files (and maybe midi if I learn how to export those).
Nope-- if you hear some let me know and we can collab.
