Well, I got stuck turning left out of Trader Joe’s today. Los Angeles traffic is no joke, and sometimes it’s just easier to go right.
I’m trying to go left but you want me to go right
This craze is just a passing phase
Might even end tonight
The lights keep passing, passing me, I try to fit inside
I start to think but before I blink
I missed the ebbing tide
The line - it builds up slow and now I have to go
Any other, any other way
The red and yellow blur as I’m pumping on the brakes
We’re busy in the city
Ain’t no room for no mistakes
A smile through the mirror, what a simple source of joy
Seen before the light turns green
Goodbye mystery boy
The line it builds up slow and now I have to go
Any other way
Breathe, count to 3, come with me, we’ll be free
From the stress, it’s a mess, just say yes to take a breath
Any other way

Nice guitar lines. Fun harmonies and intertwining in the chorus. The inner-line rhymes are great. Catchy and great listen.

Very creative song with some nice guitar work laced through this song. As far as driving in Los Angeles goes, I have not yet gone there...lol. The tossoff observation of "goodbye mystery boy" works well here, also.

well played girl, you took a frustrating scenario we've all been through and made a great song out of it. this is brilliant and the hook is so catchy. really enjoying your work!

I will almost always surrender and just go right. Sometimes it's life or death making left turns in LA, especially if you're the 3rd car. 2 cars per light! What part of LA are you in? I'm in Culver.
The harmonies are so great! What a nice surprise. I like the repetition of the "Any other way."
I like the "Goodbye mystery boy" line. I know exactly what you're talking about.

So groovy! You have a gift for rhyme and rhythm of lyrics. And love your vocals. Really enjoyed this!

You have such a great voice, especially for this type of style. There’s nothing missing with just your voice and an acoustic guitar. That’s a real gift. The harmonies were were awesome. I’ll be singing “any other, any, any other way” in my head for the rest of the night! Nicely done.
