Features a drum sample from Yard Act's "Dark Days".
So i saw the weekly challenge and an idea I've been thinking all FAWM so far began to coalesce. The verses are just the top 8 youtube recommendations for me from the front page this morning. The choruses are my respomses.
I appear to have taken the one note melody very seriously on the vocal. The monotron is there, on the first half of the choruses. The other synth is a moog emulator, on Gary Numan setting. The ukulele takes the place of a smooth sounding electric guitar. If I ever remix this, I would turn the bass synth up.
Youtube, you truly are a tornado full of dogs. Seriously, sort it out!
EDIT 10/02 - Remixed it mildly and changed when the higher backing vocal comes in for better impact. I think. Original still here - https://www.johnnycashpoint.com/fawm22/jc_dt.mp3
"Nuns don't work on Sundays"
"Dog stops tornado from forming"
"How long does a pencil last?"
"Robot drummers must be stopped forever"
Random Dada Youtube titles
Dog tornado! Dog tornado!
algorithm is a prison
Dog tornado! Dog tornado!
"Sports matches with crazy weather"
"If I laugh, I get cancelled"
"The day that Ryan changed forever"
"Sadness in Kakashi's heart"
Why do yo think I want to watch this?
Dog tornado! Dog tornado!
Careful what you search for
Dog tornado! Dog tornado!

So this is the second addictive thing that comes out of Youtube's recommandations....
Think I'm gonna call those "dog tornado". Cuz they swirl and move, and they are hungry for your attention time(and I need it to listen to fawmers).
Very dansable and mobilizing music. It feels like there is a way out of the algorythm prison.

YouTube is a dark place of confusion. This song captures that!
The synthesizer loop sounds a little like "Popular" by Eric Saade from Eurovision 2011. I'm not sure if you realise that, but that's what it said to me!
@karan Feb 2022
Whahaha, this song made me laugh out SO loud!
Also, I misheard "Dog stops tornado from fawming"!

Love that main descending synth and the drum sounds are great! You do capture that weird desperation of clickbait YouTube titles without going on with too long a list.

Brilliant sounds going on. Love the moog emulator against the very random lyrics, which work surprisingly well. Nicely done.
@pabrizzer Feb 2022
ok 8th i've listened to and you've stuck closest to the one note melody challenge - good job
@markg Feb 2022
Hilarious.
Now I'm going to have to seek out all those YouTube videos. I like how you get angry about it and rant "dog tornado!"
@starfinger Feb 2022
dog tornado! i like this one a lot too.
