Beyond Narnia. What happens when the adults forget
There’s a place I see when I close my eyes
Snow capped mountains and forests of green
Meadows ablaze with swe-eet smelling blooms
Light dancing to the rhythm of the streams
So real, you can’t be just a dream
I can feel you calling to me
I can sense there is something inside of me
Hidden yet waking, wanting to be seen
A whole diff-rent life just waiting for me
Strange but familiar, someone else I’ve been
So real, it can’t be just a dream
I can feel it calling to me
I feel the hunger inside my blood
I feel the longing in my heart
I feel your spell inside my soul
I feel the pain of us being apart
And I burn for your touch in my dreams
My love, I know you are calling to me
There is just one soul, one beating heart
This time I know when I finally sleep
This life Will end and the new one will start
So real, you can’t be just a dream
I can feel you calling to me
I feel the hunger inside my blood
I feel the longing in my heart
I feel your spell inside my soul
I feel the pain of us being apart
And I burn for your touch in my dreams

This has a natural rhythm to it. I think the first verse is my favorite part. "Light dancing to the rhythm of the streams" is a great line. I'm also a sucker for fantasy stuff, so. Neat.

Oooh. Ok, this is really good. My family and I love Narnia and I love the idea of the 'beyond Narnia' you've come up with. Vivid imagery throughout.

I love the imagery of this. It really captures the feeling of something lost but just at the edge of your memories. I hope to hear it with music!

That opening verse is very vivid and beautiful. The rest of the lyric is more mysterious, less concrete, which is great, too. What is this new life to come? Hmm...

@sheslin thank you so much for your comments. This is one I started before Christmas but got stuck after the first verse pre and chorus. Today the rest just came.

These lyrics are beautiful! You have painted such a poetic picture. Love your description too. Looking forward to hearing this with music. Very impressive for a one hour write!
