The Explorers VI - Ep 9 of 14
Heading into depths of the ship, Amara radios the SCB to begin sealing the exits and to start making their way to the engine room. Once inside they spot Greene, and his Domo contingent. To isolate their target and protect the fuel cell, they each shuffle to one side of the ship. Amara left, Julius Right. Amara taking the fuel cell as she is the more nimble of the two. Quietly dispatching unaware Domo agents along the way until they are close enough to reach Greene.

The very opening sounds suggest depth! It has an almost submarine feel to it. The bell tones at the one minute mark immediately conjured a mental image of tiptoeing down dimly lit corridors, peering round corners. Ducking and scuttling for cover, from shadow to shadow. Superbly cinematic stuff!

I can almost picture them in full operation ambush, albeit in a way that's undetected. Love the bell-like motif that comes in and out!

I like the subtle sounds in here, it has that brooding and action feel in an ongoing scene, nicely done!

Oooh... Subterfuge in the service of good. I like the way this musically represents this too.

Lots of tension, I like the quiet build. Little bursts of flute are cool.
Then the groove. Sounds a bit playful, I don’t feel like we’re in a risky situation yet.
I guess the low sequence around 2:00 telegraphs a bit more seriousness. Then openness, and the bass line gives an idea where we’re at.
Ends with a sudden arrival?
