This is a song about writers' block, which I've been struggling with for the last 6 or 7 years.
I know there's a lot to improve, but I really just had to force myself to finish it and put it out there.
Frozen in time
Barely able to move
Last one to the finish line
How do I go on with nothing left to prove?
Holding shards of memories
Old wounds open anew
I've run out of energy
Is it me or did I spend it all on you?
I always seem to stand between
Myself and me

The vocal effects really support the word 'frozen'. A lovely gentle snapshot of grief. I love how your instruments echo your vocal melody. Beautiful.

Wonderful stuff.
So intimate and intricate in your playing and vocals, and what a combo!
Love all of the chordal movements, and how your vocal melody is doubled up by guitar in some parts, works really well.
That sucks about your writing being blocked for so long! But by the sounds of this song you've got some amazing ideas stuck in that head awaiting the right time to grace the rest of us. Keep at them please!

Gorgeous intimate here, ohhhh the heart-break in relating to that last night 'I always seem to stand between/ Myself and me' -- gets me in the feelings. Beautiful inventive work, it's interesting and yet like an aural warm hug

Your voice against that descending guitar figure is beautiful. Whatever you do write is bloody lovely, so be a good chap and get over that writer's block, will you? But seriously, maybe use FAWM as an excuse to let the inner critic go and just chuck out any old rubbish. Be critical later. Works for me!

Your vocals are delicate, so evocative. The harmonies are as always spot on. love when the piano enters to fill it out a bit. The lyrics feel perfect to describe a pandemic too. Great to hear you -ru

Here he is, look! Sorry about the writer's block man, but this proves it's worth trying to break out of. Enjoy how the vocal mirrors the guitar line at times, and that progression is lovely and jazzy. Vocally I'm getting some real @hanley vibes! That piano addition is really lovely, I would love it hear it a bit more 'roomy' with all the pedal sounds, but that's probably not in your power right!? (though, grab yourself Spitfire LABs). Lovely harmonies towards the end there too.

Ah, this is lovely. That guitar sounds beautiful. The progression is all manner of yeah - definite Elliott Smith vibes with some of those changes. I really really like this one - I wish you'd waited to I could have sung on it with you *shakes fist*.
