Feb 2022 chinese prog-folk through-composed
Part of my 12 song series about a copse, each of which highlights a plant as seen by my crow character who is called Cro. Each song is called simply 'Crow's Copse' but in a different language each time.
A copse in cold winter light
Kelvinate corpuscles incriminating color temperatues
6,000 K of blue-grey
Infinitely stranded, the network of evolution spans and insinuates an anti entropic directions into all beings
Variation: multithreaded, green-leavened, birth-channeled and unbound
Copiously corralled curated consequence
Cro summons Cleve from the air, tapping into the unersal well of cleverness, channeling through wings and sternum through claws gripping the uppermost branches of the Elder.
Cleve flows through tips and twigs and branches and boughs
Wūyā xiǎo sēnlín 乌鸦小森林
It all starts here, threaded with a needle of Stitchwort leaves, pointed, sharp
Poly-veined, hyper hyphal
Fullsomely forensic
Mass distribution, complete convolution
Omnidirectional fizzing of life-force
From plant to plant, microbe to megafauna
Soil-crumb to megalith
The blind white purity of each four-petalled face
Guiding the future, driving the present, built on the past
Stellaria holostea

"6,000 K of blue-grey" has just been the hookiest thing I've heard in hours. And I've heard some good songs today!!
Had to listen to this one twice to take stuff in. You __say__ you're highlighting a plant, while, I am waiting to see how much Cro will understand the web of life he's Cro-ing his way through with such gusto and grace.
I expect to come out of this convinced that the gusto and grace itself is the understanding. But, being a verbal creature, I don't grok that quite yet.

Really interesting approach to guitar playing.
As @dukemeyer said, extraordinary.
So lovely.
You are making my day here.

Again: I love to listen to this so much! Its suprising! I love the way you play the gituar.
And I am a fan of unusual music. No traditional struktures.

Wow, this is very extraordinary - but fascinating! The lyrics are special, too - feels a bit like listening to some scientist's talking ... But the whistleing blew my mind! What a journey! :-)

There’s some great stuff in there. I like the harmony coming in and out. The texture change with so few instruments was pretty cool. The little chant at the end was ace. Nice work!
