Last Wednesday my friend Jeremy Tharp was in town and we spent the day writing songs together. Now he has posted recordings of himself performing said songs. This is the second of the 2.5 we wrote while he was here. Jeremy was in town for his grandfather's funeral, and he brought over a love letter his grandmother had written to his grandfather 70 years ago. We made it into a song (with creative license, of course.)
Dear Love,
How are things going by now?
I just hope that you can read this
Sugar, you're all that I ever think about
Dear Love,
If you're reading what I'm writing right now
I wish the time would fly
And I could hold you forever somehow
Dear Love,
I wanna have forever right now
I can't hardly stand it
Waiting for our Friday nights to come around
P.S.: I love you always

That is such cool premise and song. Brought a tear to my eye. Very nice guitar playing. I loved the ending!! .....where’s those tissues......

This song has a nice energy, and although I guess it's unusual to comment on the visuals in a video demo, I do really like the splitscreen for the two tracks. It's nice to watch both parts of the process. I also like the song origins, it's very cute!
