I wrote the lyrics for this one while waiting for a train at London St Pancras. Been meaning to get my electric guitar out for a while...
I want my time with you
Drawing the lines
Of spacious places
Contemplating our small size
That we need
To become bigger
I reach for your lost form
The edges of you
Brush the edges of me
Sweeping the railway tracks
So industriously
though elegant
semi-circle arches
Flourish the heights
Look up and sway
Beneath an architectural triumph
I want my time with you

Three cheers for St Pancras, an under-rated architectural marvel (ref The Long Dark Teatime of the Soul), Love the lyrics, would like to here the soul melody a little more forward when you come to clean this up.

Love these lyrics. LOVE.

The choice of just the electric guitar with some reverb gives it a sort of vast architectural feel. I think it pairs well with the lyrics and with the MC sounding small at times in comparison.
One advantage of so many people being able to work from home these days is that it's easier to spend more time with those we consider family. Unfortunately, the other side of that is when people can't work from home, they can sometimes taste that lifestyle if they're stuck in quarantine.

beautiful. the guitar part already gave me chills and then came your voice-- i want to listen to this while laying under the stars

Yay, good to hear the Tele coming out again! Really enjoyed this, very effective esp the clarity of the vocals set against the grunge of the guitar. Glad you got to use these lyrics.

Oh that haunting echoey guitar and your delicate vocals sound gorgeous. I like the placement of the guitar further back in the mix also,. It lets your vocals cut through the muddiness. Kind of like how it would sound in a train station. Very cool sound.

I like this. Lovely vocals, and I like this guitar part, you should probably play the electric guitar some more.
It sounds like we’re in a huge space, because reverb of course, and I think of architecture students inside a giant building, sketching out the lines, understanding the space.

What a meditative song! I love how the vocal calmly floats above and weaves through the fuzz. The lyrics are really nice too!
