I've been writing lyrics only for the past week since I've been so busy, but that makes it even more fun to collaborate with the FAWM community! So far I've loved what you all have done with my lyrics so let's have a go for the week 1 body-part challenge...
you're sending me on an expedition
to see what i can see
look, i would rather just do nothing
and talk philosophically
but I'm supposed to do something more
well OK, but what for?
I tried to chase a vision
But it was just a dead end
now you want me to try again
to see what i can see for you?
I don't see what I see
For just anybody
How will i trust you?
If i give you my vision on demand
I hope you understand
How vulnerable i am
When my sight is your command
i just pray my eyes are in good hands
i just pray my eyes are in good hands
eyeglasses are spy glasses
and my ass is in trouble
Getting intel
for the collective consciousness
And seeing double
Sorry if you hoped for good news
I can't lie when I show my honest views
If i give you my vision on demand
I hope you understand
How vulnerable i am
When my sight is your command
i just pray my eyes are in good hands
i just pray my eyes are in good hands

These lyrics are intriguing. Some parts make me think of trying to succeed at the dreams other people set for us, when you'd rather be doing something of your own.
I really liked this bit:
"If i give you my vision on demand
I hope you understand
How vulnerable i am"
It makes me think of that idea that if you don't try, you don't have the pain of failing. Or maybe I'm projecting myself into your song... is that a good thing or a bad thing?

This is super interesting... I really like the the chorus, it made me feel bad for the... robot? probe? satellite? drone? who's lending the eyes, and how vulnerable they are. Poor little fella.
