Pieced two snippets together from that time last year when I was doing a pop music deep dive and wanted to write something to fit that. Not quite sure it's there yet, but it's something!
I miss the rush
Feel the crush
Your body next to me
As the wind blows on in
Your touch, sweet memory
Seen it all
Heard your call
God, I’m craving it
But it’s okay
I’ll go on
Pretending you’re not still
On in my heart
These long nights
Faded sights
Only emptiness
As the wind blows on in
Your smile, sweet memory
Seen it all
Heard your call
I just couldn’t face it
It’s okay
I’ll go on
But god, I'm craving it
(Bridge:)
And I can’t believe I kissed that guy
That one night
A night of sin
Can’t believe I kissed that guy
Just to try to erase your memory
From my mind
The feel of your lips
I miss the rush
Feel the crush
Your body next to me
As the wind blows on in
Your touch, sweet memory
Seen it all
Heard your call
God, I’m craving it
But it’s okay
I’ll go on
Pretending I don’t miss it

There's an inherent rhythm and drive to these lyrics, like the singer is trying to get away from the scene of the crime. It seems like it could easily be set to music, which is what you want out of a lyric writer! Good job.
