The other night I was trying to write a more serious song but just couldn't think of what to write so I just hit record on my phone and played the guitar and messed around on a few different songs ideas and this was the first one that came out of that.
I'm having fun producing and sometimes over-producing music in Logic, it's so easy and fast. I totally ignored the old school approach that I love like putting mics on acoustic guitars and guitar amps but I just went for fastest, easiest way of plugging straight-in (even acoustic guitar) just dialing up software instruments with electric guitar and keyboard and had a full arrangement in no time. But just moving slow, overdubbing and mixing over the last few days.
Monday Followup: The mix was bugging me, too much going on so I just remixed it and updated the Soundcloud file. Hopefully it's got my calarity but I'll check again tomorrow. This is all part of the reason I might go back to cell-phone recordings.

I think I heard the earlier mix a few days ago. I wanted to listen through 2-3 times before commenting. I'm hearing synths I didn't hear before and the "what could go wrong" sounds more prominent. But then, I think I listened before on my iPhone. Anyway, it's super cool to hear the first song of your new batch of songs. Great title. Catchy. Very beefy sound too.

Nice one Joe. I can hear the fun you must be having with the new toys. So good to hear you again. Great start

I love your lead guitar tone.

So glad to have you back, and trending no less. This has a great RAWK vibe and your vocals are the perfect combination of detached and edgy.
