you must learn silk
teach yourself its ways
do the simple math
open up your mind
your muscles on the spool
following my line
of sight across the peaks
orbiting the place
i cannot create
the spirals always half
take my word
throw it down
new ones grow out
of the ground
the worms have let us
hang around
this temple
the baby is awake
the sun is on the leaf
everyone is here
hand upon your skin
pressed into the bed
i spare no expense
comfort is the crux
sink into the earth
smoother than the air
sleeping at your wake
take my word
throw it down
new ones grow out
of the ground
the worms have let us
hang around
this temple

Ooh you’ve posted lyrics, nice! I feel like I’ve left this same comment on all the rest of your songs, but: the piano and kind of detuned synth pads sound really cool together. Your vocals are really haunting and well mixed, and the spill of images here makes me feel like I’m watching an art film. This is a really lovely one.

Such an interesting structure, pulling us in and out with the stops and starts. It had me hooked, and you’re voice with the staccato piano was super engaging and captivating.

Shimmering strangeness, in your voice and in the music, and in the lyrics, all winding through each other! Beautiful piece of work; all the interesting shifts of melody and unexpected and yet just right harmonies cropping up as you go, making a distinctive arc with an ending that doesn't resolve musically -- matching the lyrics open-ended nature.

Reminds me of Lou Reed in structure, really nice vocal and feel - so delicate, love it. The combination of instruments and sounds and the stop start feel keeps you guessing drawing you back to the vocal.

You have an amazing vocal timbre, what a beautiful ominous piece. The pads are amazing with so much tension building up towards the final release. Thanks for sharing, curious to hear more.
