Ah, memories of youth!
Everyone remembers their "FIRST" !
She Was My First V3

Verse 1
I was 17, she was a little younger
She satisfied that wild burning teenage hunger
We’d drive around town picking up my friends
Cruise down Main, and then back again
The Big Ang DJ-ing on the radio
I swore that I was never gonna let her go
Chorus
A big ass Catalina with a 389
She was worn and kinda beat
But she was mine all mine
She mighta been a blessing
She mighta been a curse
But she was my first
Verse 2
Steering wheel as big as the helm on a schooner
Antenna on her fender with an AM tuner
Engineered for speed and acceleration
She’d pass anything but a gasoline station
We’d could fit a whole party in her big bench seats
And terrorize the highway down to Horseneck Beach
Repeat Chorus
Bridge
Eventually I had to put her up for sale
The hardest thing to ask of an American male
Repeat Chorus

Great lyrics, nice twist on the expectations, some lovely lines -- pass anything but a gasoline station! I like your timing singing it, how you phrase it.
My first, for contrast, was a Toyota sedan whose transmission died on the drive home from where me and my boyfriend bought it... we got our money back.
