there are
things
that just won't last
the sky is frozen
&
the world is made of glass
there were
questions
you just had to ask
the sky is frozen
&
the world is made of glass
there are
moments
that should stay in the past
the sky is frozen
&
the world is made of glass

holy shit holy shit holy shit. this is soooo good what the hell. i have no idea how you did it, but everything about this is just 10/10. aaah i dont know what else to say about it but i love it so much

I like the frenetic guitar and the lyrical imagery. This has an unusual song structure, but it works really well.

Really enjoyed this song. Nice lyrics and the flow of the sound works perfectly with them.

Great choice on the loooooooong fadeout, giving the sense that this song actually just goes on forever with no end, cycling and cycling in a Werner Herzog-ian bleakness.

I really like the manic-repeating-of-a-line approach. With just a few other words strewn in there which together make up a whole little narrative. Or mysterious, dizzying short story.
@doglatin Feb 2022
Mesmerizing, mantra-like, I like!
@downfallroad Feb 2022
Oh man, Always enjoy your stuff. love the lyrics, wish there were more. Glad youre back.
@theodamus Feb 2022
This is awesome, equal measures of energy and bitterness and atmosphere. Beautiful

The title alone would make this great, and on top of that it's a fabulous song. Great energy. Deserves a full band production of the sort on a mid 1980s Replacements album.
@sbs2018 Feb 2022
Imteresting POV. I like how the lyrics are really about the sound of the words.
@fuzzy Feb 2022
Oh yeah, so glad you're back!
I'm liking the woozy effect in my headphones.
Your lyrics are always so devastating.
I always like your work.

I love these lyrics! They’re cutting. I love how sparse they are. The demo wouldn’t play for me though but I’ll check back later.
