Symphony this is not :) But a whole heap of fun playing around with all the different instruments and bringing them all in together
in the last chorus for a symphony of "noise" :)
Liz Says: I LOVE how Joanne brought in so many different instruments in this wonderful musical arrangement that marches on to a steady beat and her wonderful vocals and melody! So much joy and fun to listen to! I’m so grateful, Jo, for your time and talents!!!
the piccolo danced
and the cellos swelled
the trombones slid in
the violas waltzed
and the oboes mourned
as tympani marched again
C
it was a symphony
of diversity
everyone played
their part
it was a symphony
of integrity
through shared love
of art
V2
the clarinets sang
and the trumpets cheered
as the cymbals clapped loud
the violins hummed
and the bassoons burped
as the snare drums slowed down

it was a symphony
of diversity
everyone played
their part
it was a symphony
of integrity
through shared love
of art
B
the saxophones, euphoniums
and French horns took a nap
but in the next movement
invited by chimes and bass…
they came back

it was a symphony
of diversity
everyone played
their part
it was a symphony
of integrity
through shared love
of art

Love how appropriate each of the activities of each instrument are (the bassoons burping is especially apt). And a symphony as a metaphor for how we each need to be different (and true to ourselves) to come together to create something collectively that couldn't exist without us all doing that is lovely and so nicely executed. Nice musical arrangement (I love the sax bit especially).

I really enjoyed all of the instruments, they seemed to really work well together!

Fun listen! Diversity of effects. Well done!

Superb "musication" of these lyrics and what an arrangement.
Great vocal too.

My love for your vocals goes without saying.
REALLY impressed with your orchestration here. I really need to "stretch" and start experimenting more with all of the instruments I've collected over the years. I DID use strings in the song I just uploaded--but you've used all of the "families" of instruments here. Great job--great lyrics!

This a lovely listen, with some great couplets in there. Great collaboration and a really enjoyable mix with the all the instruments playing their parts, as it were. Thanks for posting

Such a wonderful blend of talents, and instruments! Orchestra instructors would love this one. So many instruments, even one I’d never heard of! It was fun to hear them come in on their cues, blending, yet standing out on their own. Really well done.

Awhh...this is perfect marriage of Kahlo's always colorful lyrics and Joanne's lush symphonic arrangement. I love how you reflected the lyrics with each section of the orchestra reperesented! A literal symphony of diversity and love. Great pairing you two!
